About Dr. Rajkumar Veerakumaran
- Rajkumar obtained his medical degree from MAHE, Manipal in 2008
- He graduated with a master’s degree in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2017
- He has over 15 years of experience in general orthopaedics
- His special interests include Adult Joint Reconstruction (having undergone hip, knee & shoulder replacement attachments in India and Thailand), trauma, osteoporotic and geriatric fracture management, as well as diabetic wound care
- He has performed over 1100 joint replacements and recently completed a comprehensive training in Robotic Total & Partial Knee Arthroplasty in India. Partial Knee and Total Knee can be done as a Daycare procedure in selected patients.
- He is also well-versed in Chronic pain management, combining Ultrasound Guided Nerve Blocks/Ablation with Pain Portal injection techniques and intensive physiotherapy to produce satisfying results
- He is a certified Medical Impairment Assessor
